Instead of this: http://www.liquid2k.com/vg/icon.jpg
My Icon looks like this: http://www.liquid2k.com/vg/icon2.jpg

I am running Windows 98 on PII-233/128mb/4gb/8mb S3 Trio.

It's not the "Display icons using all possible colours" setting,

It's not the colour depth.

Every other icon looks the way it's supposed to.

Any ideas?

hmm...The icon was probably replaced somehow. Did you update Internet Explorer anytime recently?

I think the new one looks better anyways. http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/smile.gif

could just be the way your video card and/or monitor is displaying colors...
perhaps the amount of blue needs to be tweaked or the factory just sets the contrast default different on your monitor

dont touch it if it aint broke...
no really, dont

That first guy had the right idea, What version of Internet Explorer are you currently using? Some versions have Icon changes. And also: That Signature of the guy above me is hilarious, heheheeheh!

Hmm, as far as I'm concerned, it has to do with his monitor's *.inf files ... my guess is that he has Plug-and-Play Monitor in his device manager instead of the correct monitor model ...

Shouldn't matter though, I'm using the Plug-n-Pray Drivers for my monitor aswell.
