I watch alot of short films and clips from different streaming media sites. Atom Films is one I enjoy alot. However the films will only play in the tiny pop up window and not the actual windows media window that would allow me to size the image.
I play many other films or Mpeg movies ripped from DVD and can size these with no issues.

So I guess the question is: Is this just the way Atom Films works and I have to live with it?

Or is this because its a streaming media film?

Also is thier any way so save films on a HD for play offlne?

Thanks for any help on this. I just can't believe that these films can't be viewed at a better size.

And if you get a few miniutes to spare watch this neat little film. Made even Memnoch The Devil smile. http://www.atomfilms.com/default.asp?film_id=84

Usually, with the case of streaming media, most companies try to cut down on size as opposed to bitrate so that people on dial-up modems can still view it decently.

I have viewed some movie trailers from Reel.Com, and they are always sized small. Most bigger sites have streaming options that allow faster connections to view larger-sized films.

And when you CAN view them in Media Playter and try to view them bigger (i.e. change the window to 200%), the movie of course gets pixelized and blurry.

p.s. I just watched the preview of that movie - and I think it's great http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/smile.gif WOuld make a great commercial or a "wake-up call" to everyone...

I guess this is another reason the IPV6 protocol looks real good. It seems almost an insult to some films to be viewed in such a small window.
