This is one of those movies where you have to see it again! I was very impressed.

I can't quite believe it... but it was actually better the second time around.

I thought it was pretty good but could have been better. The beginning was pretty slow and uneventful but the story had to develop somewhere I guess. As if I'm some film critic or writer and have a position to criticize, but I still like Return of the Jedi the most.

TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!

No......seriously,everything happened too fast.

spoiler:
Nothing was ever said of Amidala as being the leader of the Conservatives until after the assasination attempt. Nothing was said of why the clone army was there except the shallow reply that didn't really tell you anything except that somebody ordered an army and it wasn't that dead Jedi. Why the Seperatist movement started and why in the name of Lucas is Jar jar the inarticulate the Rep of the Gungans?!

SPOILER!!!

Very cool, but could of been better. Yoda's scene was HILARIOUS (but still veeeeery cool:D)! Reminded me of a flea. Bounce, bounce, bounce. Also, I can safely say Jar Jar single-handedly destroyed the Republic w/ his "Emergency Power" vote. All hail, the rubber-headed, long-eared, bane of democracy!

Nfested, I disagree, he MUST be in the third one. There must be a very long excrutiating dicing scene. Many, many knives... and hooks, lots of hooks... and lots of cg blood. Only then will my soul be at peace :)

YEAH! Make Anakin torture him with Sith techniques after turning to the Dark Side. Lots of blood and entrails........

!!! SPOILER !!!

Now, why would Anakin torture Jar Jar since he helped the Empire take control?

They should banish him to some place like Tatooine, no water for milies. Ha ha ha... (Evil Smiliy)

Though, I think they might come up with some way of killing him off, without making it seem like murder or exicution. ... then again, ... maybe not. :( ???

Start Spoiler:

They should just have Samuel L Jackson slice off his head just as he did to Jango Fett.

End Spoiler:

Or in the next movie they should actually give Jar Jar a personality and emotion and actually be important to the movie. Having Jar Jar being something just for the kids is annoying.

Episode 2 was ok, but I didnt dig it too much. I liked episode 1 quite a bit more = Much better acting and much better dialog.

Here's my beef with EP2-

All the talking in Ep 2 was so stiff and to the point. Lighten up!

The love story bordered on total cheese, but thankfully, it stayed on the side of acceptable (just barley).

Hayden Christensen cant act for shit. He was beyond bad. Almost as bad as the young anakin from ep1.

The whole reason for the clone army was poorly described (as someone mentioned earlier in this thread).

Bad editing!! The scene where Anakin whups ass after his mother dies should have been longer. Yoda's fight should have gone on for a little longer. I know there are a few other scenes that were cut wrong, but I cant remember them right now.

Jango fett dies like an absolute wuss. He just stands still firing his blaster while Mr. Windu waltzes over to him and slices his head off. Lame city.

One more thing- why the hell was R2 flying!?! Why didnt he do that in eps 4,5, and 6? Lame.

Well, there is alot of my complaints. I did really like the last hour or so of the movie- the battles and special effects were very good. I also dug the car scene towards the beginning- that was interesting. All the action was good, and the plot was good, but the piss poor acting and dull script made the movie less than stellar.

It really looked like Natalie Portman was reading off cue cards for most of the movie.

I thought the 2nd half of the movie was better than the 1st. The first half just dealt with Obi Wan investigating the clone army and romance (or lack of acting) between Anakin and Padme. The 2nd half had all the action.

Yeah after thinking about it Hayden Christensen only had 2 facial expressions. Passive, and angry.

He also gave Natalie Portman a "nice white outfit" expression, but then again so did I.....:p

What was, Natalie Portman's outfit getting ripped, or the movie itself?
