nocd patch jacks up battle.net

Is there a patch or something i can do to restore my Starcraft to make it work with battle.net?

Sure, there's a way you can fix it... put back the old EXE (you did back it up, didn't you?) or uninstall and reinstall the game, and use the cd. Battle.net checks for altered files (certainly the EXE, possibly some other files) to prevent hacks and pirated versions from getting on, and even if you're using the nocd for legitimate purposes (bad cdrom drive or just for convenience), you're out of luck with battle.net. If you're having cdrom drive problems, Blizzard's tech support site has some suggestions, or you can explain your problem more fully and someone here may be able to help.

yes i know that just using the cd is best for battle.net but is there something to make it not recognize the diff?
