DII freezes randomly

arg! Diablo II keeps freezing randomly. no certian time or certain event happens, it just freezes whenever.waht the hell is wrong?I think it may be my video card.because lsat time diablo kept freezing when i was trying to use my tnt2 card, but i switched to direct draw or waht ever, the first option u could pick on the video test, and diablo worked. now.. it freezes randomly and its pissen me off. my parents get pissed at me because i have to restart every single day. sometimes once, or twice or more. what the hell do i do to fix this????? plz help asap!

Are you using an Nvidia video card? Post your computer specs here so we can help you better. Download this program (http://www.opentechsupport.net/downloads/utilities/mypcinfo.exe) if you don't know what your system specs are.

I once had sporadic freeze-ups in D2, and I eventually solved it by changing my video card. Maybe yours is the same, or it may be different. Post your specs and we will see we can attack this problem.

Try out the NVidia 5.22 drivers. They seem to have the best track rcord for Diablo 2 in performance and stability with TNT(2) cards.

maybe i'm too late with my reply, but i have a tnt2 card too and D2 was often freezing too. I fixed it by dling new drivers. Take a look at Blizzard site, in the diablo section, in the technical support area.
