ps2 and frontier isp

Complete newb but I need some help. Just got Frontier as my isp couple weeks ago decided to hook up the ps2. I have a linksys wga54g adapter and a wrt54g wireless router with a frontier provided speedstream 5200 modem. This is my initial setup and am tryign to get he network config on my memory card. I have no mods to the ps2 or anything like that and it is the slim model without the need for the network adapter. I have tried with the wireless setup and also from the modem directly both with the same result, ps2 saying there was a dns server error after running the dnas authentication. I know my wireless sytem is working as my computer gets internet connection, sony says there is something blockiung the response from the dnas getting back tot he ps2, something from frontier . I did advised there i verified there is no firewall on the modem. I call fronmtier and i get the ol bs of we do not support it, everything is fine since you internet net is working. I am hoping that someone with frontier and has their ps2 working has the time to walk me through the steps of their setup and anything else they needed to do. please let me knpw Thanks
