Exclamation If you are having problems with your gamecube, please read this.

I earlier posted a link to tweak the laser on the gamecube, which fixes a majority of the disc read errors on the cube, but tthe link didnt get pasted right or something, and it led to a crap spam page. I am VERY sorry for this error, I feel like a retard for that.

Anyway, the cause of most of the problems with the gamecube not reading discs is not due to dirty or scratched discs, but to an incorrectly set resistance on the laser, whic is somewhat easily fixed.

This link should help. http://www.consoleworkshop.co.uk/Tut...er%20tweak.php

The hardest part is getting the screws out of the bottom of the cube. I used a long skinny pair of needle nose pliers, and it worked fine.

Again, i am VERY sorry about the spam link, my forehead is bloody from banging it on the wall, and I gracefully accept any floggings coming my way for that.

Your other link worked just fine when you first posted it here. Some links just die, nothing you can do about it. Thanks for posting the updated link. You can wipe that blood from your forehead now.
