PS2 Help

Ok to start off I have the new version of PS2 I think, (The really small and thin one)...

A couple weekends ago I was playing a game and I accidentaly dropped it...I was really worried but I hooked it up again and it worked fine.

Then I set it in my dresser and it has been untouched since. Just today I received Grandia 3 from Gamefly and I was hooking up my PS2 to play it, and right when I press the on button it stays green for about 2 seconds and then just shuts off...the fan or drive don't start up only the light flashes

I've already broke my warranty seal on accident and I can't figure out how to open up the PS2 to take a look inside...I know there is a screw and I can pull it apart I just don't want to wreck anything

This is my friends PS2 and he would be very angry if he found out that I broke it...if anyone can help me that would be great because it could save me more then $100...

Thanks

Re: PS2 Help

It sounds like it has had it to me. Can you take it to anyone to have a look at it for you?

Re: PS2 Help

I doubt it. I live in a really low populated area and the only guys around here are computer techs. They wouldn't look at the PS2.

My guess is the PS2 is fried, because I same thing happened with my computer. It was really hot and it was on, and I accidentaly kicked it and it crashed and never worked again.

I hope it magically started to work...or I'm screwed.

Re: PS2 Help

Never kick a machine. You could be done by the RSPCM (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Machines.
Anyway, sick joke over. Yes, I think you could well be screwed. Never believed in magic being able to fix things, but you never know your luck.
