i heard that ps3 is coming out soon but when?

Last I hear, PS3 was coming out in May this year. However, Halo 3 for Xbox 360 is scheduled to come out on the same day. It will be interesting to se what happens. I've heard theat Microsoft has been finished with Halo 3 for quite some time, but they are waiting for the launch day of the PS3, hoping to through a wrench in the gears

If you read the link I posted above this states that the PS3 will not be ready until the beginning of November. This was announced by Sony's president on the 15th March.
