Xbox 360 or PC?
Well me and my friend have been argueing over this for a while now keeping us up till about 7 most mornings
So finaly i have decided to ask: What is actually better? Mostly for power and grafix (what is more capilble for better graffix)
My view is that the PC is much better than the xbox seeing as u can do so much more but then he will bring up the arguement that the 360 is more capable of having better graffix than a PC, but then i bring up the 8800gtx X2...and can have up to(well for what i have seen....8 gig ram) and quad core CPU etc...But he still isnt having it so im hoping this post will put it to rest
So yeah if some1 could tell me the specs of a 360 that would also be great
Oh and if this should be under another sub forum please move and sorry if this has been asked many times before
thanks

PC.
The 360 is stuck where it's at. The PC will continue improving.
There really isn't an argument here. He's just ill-informed.

Re: Xbox 360 or PC?
DirectX 10 games will make console graphics look like the atari 2600. For price/performance, it's hard to beat an X-Box though. Especially if you want a cheap HD-DVD player.
PC gaming will always pull ahead. The drawback is, PC gaming can be a very expensive hobby if you want all the eye candy on. A top of the line graphics card alone can equal or surpass the cost of a console alone.

Re: Xbox 360 or PC?
Like Ion mentioned, the major downfall of PC vs Console is cost. If you use your computer for something more than just gaming, then PC easily comes out on top. On the concept of graphics and power, definitely PC. There is no way you could ever use a 360 for some of the things you can do on a PC. And graphics are a lot better. There's just no comparison between some games that're available for both PC and the 360. The graphics just look better on PC (provided you have the hardware).

Re: Xbox 360 or PC?
my comptuer runs circles around xbox360, ps3, and wii in performance, and graphics...
I paid 2500 dollars last summer to build it, and I coudl of bought 5 xbox 360 for that price at the time.
But I can Upgrade my computer, and do much more with it than the xbox360.
So the thing is I cna do alot more with my pc, but I paid a butt load more for it...
Id say PC > any console.
Id actually take a serious look at wii. since its controllers and gameplay is alot different than any console or pc out there today. Its basically different, and its something you cant readily do with comptuers yet.

The PS3 has some sensors in the controllers too. Just like the Wii. The problem with the Wii though is that just about EVERY SINGLE game uses that. And it actually gets very boring swinging your arms around wildly. It's not even that accurate in some cases. Like you can just flick your wrist and such, when you should really be swinging your arm for the full effect.
I like the concept, but we need some games that don't rely on it for those who still want to play games. Personally, I like to relax and just enjoy a game. I don't wanna come home from 12 hours of school and work to be flailing my arms. So hopefully they will start getting some games on the Wii that don't rely almost completely on it.
Currently, the only reason I'd get a Wii is to play the classic games you can download with it.

I remember reading something a while back that said Nintendo wasn't he originator of the thumbstick. I'm sure it's the same for the motion sensors. But it doesn't matter. I'd choose the Wii just because my friends and I come over to my place to game a lot and the Wii is more of a party system.
