the system is unimportant, all that matters are the games.

If you HAVE to have a Blue Ray DVD player, it might be worth it. And you could probably use it as a secondary PC to an extent as it openly will run Yellow dog Linux or probably even more distros by now.

I think the XBox 360 is a better deal by far though considering the number of cool games for it compared to the PS3. Plus I think HD-DVD has better titles unless you like all that tree-hugging Disney shit.

I think 360 is better just because of the Microsoft part. Since the 360 and Vista are built from a lot of the same stuff, the integration of the 2 is a genius idea. In fact, the integration of many MS products is awesome.
