I've recently been looking for and playing good old games I missed out on...
As the topic states, I've lately taken an interest in the gems of the past, especially if there's modern-day remakes of them. Maybe it's just me, but games of old seem to have had more originality and generally better stories compared to most of today's, yet they of course lack graphics and sometimes convenient controls we take for granted, though that's not always a problem. I love when they take everything about the old games and refresh it for a modern audience, it's almost like an upgrade and polish.
Anyways, the point here is I'd like suggestions from you guys on what you think are some gems of the good old days, for both PCs and Consoles. I currently own an Xbox 360, Wii and PS2, as well my PC of course. However I have considered perhaps getting some old systems if they're cheap and I'm not one to shy away from emulators, so feel free to suggest anything. I take particular interest in RPGs, RTSs, some Action/Adventure, and some FPSs.
Also, as some examples of what I've been playing and/or looking for lately...
