For those that have never seen or used this mouse and are thinking about getting it, its the best wireless mouse you can buy IMO. The batteries it uses are 1750 mAh AA Ni-MH and can be replaced with higher capacity Ni-MH(highest out now is 2000 mAh). They recharge pretty quick, usually in about 2 hours or less. Mine usually last me 2 to 3 days full charged, and thats with heavy use. There is no delay when moving the mouse and Ive never had it stop responding. I have it sitting in front of a router and a DSL modem, even though it says in the users manual to keep 3 to 6 feet around it clear of electrical devices. My only gripe with it is that the program for programming the buttons is limited, you cant assign any keystroke to them, but there is a pretty large list. Supposedly though Logitech is coming out with new mouseware that allows full customization as they have gotten many requests for that. Some people say you can use MS Intelimouse software to program the buttons, but I havent been able to get that to work.
