geforce fx 5800 $40 at walmart

You're kidding. Seriously, i wouldn't believe it unless i saw it with my own eyes, and asked a salesperson if it really was 40 dollars. I mean, the FX 5200 costs 60 at the cheapest possible store.

Where did you hear this? There website doesn't even have that card listed...and nVidia stopped making the card....

i saw it for my eyes and i checked the price, it is the discontinued one, the one that was retailing for about 250 onlinei was shocked also so i checked to see how much it was online. it was the 5800. i bought one and sold for 150$ and put it in some kids computer.

Ive checked with my deal sources, there is nobody that has heard about this.

It seems unlikely that there would be a FX5800 for $40, that is very low. Even though nVidia has discontinued the line, I think that such a low price was an odity in one store. I don't discredit Ocean but when I contacted Walmart about this deal they did not even have a record of stocking the Geforce 5800 in any of their stores.

it was clearance, they had 2 it didnt seem to be refurbished, but im just saying that appearently walmart had some floating around as stuff to just be gotten rid of. these were at walmarts in vienna and parkersburg wv. the sales people didnt know what they had. and they sold 2 b4 i got their appearently. with another store having just 1. when someone told me i called and they said they didnt have any, but i went to check anywayz and they had 2 on the front counter under clearance.
