Avoid Interland/Host Pro!

Three years ago when I hosted a couple of sites with Interland, they were one of the best in the field. Fast servers, great tech support, great features. But in the past year I have noticed that the quality of service and performance at Interland has taken a nosedive - sites are always going down, and their support page is a pain in the arse to navigate...

Their recent merger with Host Pro (which is probably one of the suckiest webhosts I ever used, just a tad above C I Host and Icom.Com) has all but removed my trust in what was once a great webhost. Host Pro was TERRIBLE - slow, bloated, and tech support sucks. They even had our company site down for almost two freakin weeks because they couldn't solve a SQL server problem... Now that they merged with Interland, the quality of service has nowhere to go but down...

I have now removed all the sites I had hosted at Interland, with the exception of one (because I don't own it) ... I don't want to be there when Interland finally decides to self destruct and take its disgruntled customer base with it...
