Thumbs up Logitech Rules

A while ago my Logitech MX700 kept double clicking on a single click, its about 18 months old and gets a ton of use. And that double clicking made it pretty much impossible to click and drag anything, push toggle buttons, etc. So I called Logitech support and told them what was wrong. After about 10 mins, the guy gave me a case # and an RMA # and said a new mouse was on the way. It took a while go get here, over 10 days and using my old mouse sucked, but it finnaly came today. A brand new one in retail sealed box. I thought they would send me a refurb. And also, there was no return shipping label or any other paper telling me I needed to send them the old mouse. This new one has a couple of improvements to the laser as well(so Ive read) and it came with higher capacity batteries.

I guess that 5 year warranty is full coverage.

Re: Logitech Rules

Im excited then! I just ordered a Logitech Optical Mouse from Newegg about 4 days ago. Now i know that i am going to get a solid, reliable product. A friend of mine has been using a Logitech Op mouse for 2 and a half years with no problems.

Re: Logitech Rules

I have a really nice pair of logitech speakers..

It was a surround-sound package, something like 77 watts (not a ton) but it was only 53 bucks, and they sound GREAT. I personally use a microsoft optical mouse speical edition, but that is only because me brother was going to throw it out.

Well thats a plus then. Now you don't have to replace them every couple days.

Using lithium or rechargeable batteries has significant advantages over other batteries.

Re: Logitech Rules

I been using the Logitech MX1000 for a week now. Best mouse ever. Even better than the MX700 and works perfect on just about any surface.

Re: Logitech Rules

How long will the MX1000 go without a recharge?
Also how heavy is it? I like lite mice such as the Wheel Mouse Optical I have now.

Re: Logitech Rules

It weighs pretty close to what the MX700 weighs. It feels lighter to me though mainly because it fits my hand a lot better than the MX700. My only beef with it is the forward and back buttons are positioned a bit awkward and you have to click them harder. The mouse wheel click also takes some force to get it to click.

As far as gaming goes, my aiming has never been better in FPS's and my hand no longer cramps like it did with the MX700. If the buttons clicked effortlessly, I'd have given this mouse a 10 out of 10.

As far as battery charge goes, it lasts longer than the MX700 does and charges faster. But if you run out of charge, you can't slap another set of charged batteries in it like you can with the MX700.

Anyway, with the "Laser" (Dr. Evil voice), it works on just about any surface. I even got it to work on glass.
