AT&T@Home Customer Service

=ass. Just ask anyone who uses them and has ever had to give them account info or technical support.

They disconnected me this weekend because I was my credit card expired. The catcher here is I gave them a new number a month ago and they ended up not putting the new card number in. Jackasses. I had to go up and pay manually monday to get it turned back on.

Before that, I baught my own cable modem to save on my monthly bill. It took them 2 weeks to get the information put in their server correctly for the modem to be able to connect. I got 2 weeks credit on my account for something that should have only took 2 minutes to do.

@home tech support=ass.

Yes I too have had problems with techsupport. However it was with gateway. I had a bum modem and it wouldn't work for my games becuase it was shitty as hell. They wouldn't do anything becuase the game wasn't apart of the warranty.

Now I have cable with RR and have been doing fine.

AT&T@Home Customer Service

I too have had the worst time with AT&T. It took them 3 weeks to
hook up and then when I disconnected for the summer it took about
3 months for them to finally figure out the correct bill. Their
personel is way out of line. I just don't see how they can still be in
business. If you have any other choice for a fast connection please
use the other source and save yourself a hell of a lot of trouble. I
now have sprint and it has been a dream.

I also have AT&T@Home. To anyone looking for broadband connections, get anything BUT @Home. Their customer service personnel is a joke. My internet is always being disconnected because of noise trouble that they have been having for the past 2 years. They just can't seem to fix it (if they are even trying). I would call to ask for a technition to come to my house, and the day they are supposed to be here (which was between 1-5pm) he shows up at about 10:00pm and doesn't even knock on my door. So I go outside and he's fiddling with cable box, it ends up being that he was here for a digital television owner. This guy is an RF tech not an internet tech. I call @Home and they say nothing was scheduled. So I ask them if they have got it this time. They say yes. Well it happened again, I called them up again and guess what? Nothing scheduled. They got it the 3rd time finally. Who are these people they are hiring? High-school drop out section 8 housed idiots? Service is also crap, they are capping bandwidth more and more every day. Will I be idling with 56k soon?
