Too Good to be True?

Getting all this for $120 per year (yearly billing cycle) sounds too good to be true. Although, they are a new company -- but I'm just wondering if they're going to rip-off the people who sign up for that or if the company may mysteriously fold. Then again, that's an awfully nice layout they paid for. Their customers who post at Web Hosting Talk's forums seem to be pleased with their hosting.

I've browsed Totally Hosted's forums, and from what I've seen, the tech support appears to great and their hosted websites are fast. Because I'm considering signing up with them, I wanted to know what you guys thought?

Well, they DO have some really nice and cheap hosting plans, and their customer service seems topnotch ... but as you said, they are a new company, and new companies usually have stellar service to attract customers fast... it's the way the webhosting business works...

I've had experience with fledgeling webhosts, particularly for OTS... I signed up with F5Hosting when they were just a couple of months into the business... customer service was stellar and very personable, and the hosting plans were the best value for your money anywhere... but I gradually found out that being personable and affordable were not enough in the long run ... experience in the business is also a big factor... there were situations and problems I had with the server account that the new hosting company had a hard time fixing, mainly because they haven't encountered it before...

So, I can only suggest that you tread lightly on this company ... they can actually be a really great hosting company and they can probably stay in the business for a long time... but with those very low prices and bundles of extras, you'll probably begin to wonder how they can make any money at all...
