If you want optimum juice to run the hardware inside your PC, you need a good power supply. We have some power supply reviews from
Hardware Secrets,
TweakNews and
3DGameMan to make your upgrade decisions easier.
The first one is the
AcBel Polytech iPower 660 Power Supply. AcBel Polytech, a traditional OEM manufacturer, is trying to enter the retail market. the folks at
Hardware Secrets made an in-depth review on their iPower 660 model. Is it a good product? Here's a snip:
"AcBel Polytech is a very well known OEM manufacturer, producing power supplies for brands such as Cooler Master. Now they seem interested in the retail market and today we are going to completely dissect their iPower 660 model (also known as PS2/660 or PC7016), which should reach the US market pretty soon, to see if it can really deliver its labeled power and what is its internal design."

The second one is the
Ultra X3 800Watt Modular Power Supply, reviewed by the folks at
TweakNews. Here's a snip:
"Testing yielded stable voltages, quiet operation and I won't have to worry about buying a new power supply when the time comes to upgrade my system. The flat, flexible modular cabling system was great to work with and has spoiled me completely. I can't imagine going back to regular cables, much less a non-modular design."

And the third one is the
OCZ EliteXStream 1000W Power Supply, reviewed by the guys at
3DGameMan. Here's a snip:
"The OCZ EliteXStream 1000W Power Supply distinguishes itself from the many others on the market because it's compact, offers lots of watts and has a single high power +12V rail (80A). A single +12V rail tends to be preferred, especially in a multiple video card setup because all the power is available on a high powered rail and not spread over multiple rails. It's also efficient, has quality power and comes with a quiet 120mm fan. This will be a very sought-after power supply. Watch the video to find out more."
