Funny Charter Thing

I was talking to a friend today online. He's been having problems with his Charter internet connection (cable). It's too weak of a signal so I told him to call up Charter and have them send a tech guy out.

Here's the little convo:

[20:36:29] AJ: my mom called charter
[20:36:34] MasterOfMadmen: Ok.
[20:36:39] AJ: and they told her to DL netscape becuz mozilla has too much spyware
[20:36:43] AJ: i was like ... don't talk to me
[20:38:21] MasterOfMadmen: What?
[20:38:23] MasterOfMadmen: LMAO

I found that very entertaining. That they would tell him to ditch Mozilla for Netscape because of spyware... hahaha. There is something seriously wrong with those tech people. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Netscape the one that's now bundled with adware?

wow. incompetence at its finest. i do hope the name of that tech was acquired.

hmm, charter told me my connection was bad/weaker also. though ive installed satellite intenet access, so we got along better and i was able to correct him on a few things. they sent a tech out when i wasnt here.
