Re: Music
My favorite is a secret, you'll never find out.
I don't play any instruments, although I'm still thinking about continuing those piano lessons...

Re: Music
most rock from the 80s to now is good. I also listen to a little hip hop as well. I perticularly like Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, and Metallica.
edit: I can pretty much tolerate anything but country.

Re: Music
Between seeing and getting to know Mr. Astbury 8 times with The Doors and seeing Mr. Duffy with Jerry Cantrell as the Cardboard Vampyres, I think it's safe to say say I've seen some type of formation of the Cult.
The Cult rules!

Re: Music
I like a lot of stuff from a variety of genres, even a little bit (a very little bit) of country and rap. My favourites are probably Miles Davis, the Clash and the Ramones. I play a little guitar, I have a Breedlove dreadnought and I just got a hand-me-down old Epiphone Les Paul. I had about 4 months of lessons last year, and I'm going to pick up lessons again soon. In the mean time, I just solo pentatonic scales and play blues progressions for fun, but no serious shredding.
I have a huge MP3 collection, probably two to three thousand albums, but I mostly just make mixed MP3 CDs, skipping across genres, styles, and times, and let those play through. I rarely actually listen to a whole album all the way through. To get an idea, this is a listing of the mix I have in the car sterio (it's MP3 enabled) right now.

Re: Music
I listen to pretty much everything except rap&hip-hop, country, and opera. Usually I'll listen to some classic rock, punk, and ska.
I play acoustic guitar, have been on and off for just about 2 years.
