Got stimulus check?

For those who were qualified to receive the government's "stimulus" checks, did you get yours already? If so, what did you spend it on?

Or if you haven't received yours yet, what do you plan to use it for?

not for me, about 1 year too young to be independent.
but i do plan on spending $600+ anyways. (new computers and college. haha.)

Not yet, mine doesn't get shipped till June 3rd i beleive. Gonna use it to start building a new PC, Age of Conan is killing my current one

I got mine, direct deposit ftw. However, I blew it all in less than a day. I guess that's what I get for living off savings for a few months. But since I have a steady job now, it's not such a big deal.

HOWEVER. If you would like a list of things I would buy if that $600 had not been essential for food and transport, that I can do!

$130 would have gone to a DS, as well as $50-150 for games/peripherals/whatnot. After that, $40-80 for new sneaks. Then I'd put $200 in savings and blow the rest in Barnes&Noble(It's a trap!).

Ah... if only....

i should have got mine last week, i got my taxes deposited on that H&R block card and when i called to say WTF they told me that my rebate check was getting mailed, so june 27th...

what im spending it on, hopefully a decent car so i can get a real job, instead of pushing fireworks like always

I have not yet received mine and it's almost two weeks late. It should have been deposited on May 9th.

Also Thee: If you used a tax filling service you are not eligible to receive the stimulus payment via direct deposit. That was something that wasn't advertised up front, but the IRS revealed sometime last week.

I plan to buy a Wii if the idiots will give me my money. It's amazing, really. When you owe the IRS money, they will go through hell and high water to get it from you. When they owe you money, they decide they'll get it to you whenever the **** they feel like it.

I packed away part of it to rent a house on the Oregon coast in Sept for a little vacation with the Fam. With the rest I bought GTAIV and then bought a few parts on the 69 MG Midget I'm restoring.
