The "weed 'o' matic" is back! (in black)

hi all

after a very serious adventure with linux, i have come back to opentechsupport.
i used to go under the name of weed 'o' matic, but now i am the weedman.

thanks to linux, i have a backup OS on my familys home pc, a sic distro testing system and a slow old system rebooted to linux which has now made it wicked.

also, now i am hellbent on bagging out windows + microsoft.
i currently used fedora core 4 on my familys pc, and slackware 10.1 on my other 2 pcs.

i have used mandrake, knoppix, DSL (damn small linux) and some unknown others.

it feels good to be back.

any linux q's, ask me please!

Why you installed linux,there is for example .: LindowsOS 4.5?

i installed linux for various reasons

1. its free (most of them)
2. it doesnt crash like windows does (linux has not crashed on me yet)
3. it doesnt come with garbage like windows does (linux comes with all the software you need to run a computer properly)
4. [The Biggie] Customisation!
Windows sucks <****> when it comes to customising it. With linux you can customising from head to toe.
5. ease of use (self explatatory)


and theres many more. I still use windows for some things though.
