Okay, so here I am folks!

Okay, my name is Björn and I'm from Sweden. I'm 29 years old. I have a passion for computer hardware/software and computer games and I have been using computers since I was 7 years old, so it's like I was born with a computer in my knee... :-)

Anyway, I spend a lot of my time on the internet forums in order to try to establish connection with competent IT folks who can share their opinions and ideas which one can find in the IT field.

One of the things I would like, it's to advance in my IT skills and perhaps even get a paid IT job somewhere?

I like to look at cartoons like tennage mutant hero turtles and Zelda, maybe not a very grown up thing to do?? But I like it.

I think IT forums like these have changed the world in a very positive way and I like the layout of this forum.

In my blog I sometimes write down personal opinions and I link to tech sites, post World of warcraft pictures from my gameplay and so on... Please visit my blog and give me some opinions. I often discusses things which is related to free services like Joost or different views which one can talk about when it comes to computer security. A lot of things, although everything is written in my main language: swedish.

Greetings to ya all!

Re: Okay, so here I am folks!

Thanks for the welcoming note!

I must admit though that I'm not very good at computer programming but I understand the basics. My strong card is that I'm pretty fast at finding good information on the net and I use this at the present to help people in private when they are going to buy computer hardware. I act as IT support/adviser and hardware installation for my younger brothers.

My highest school education is at upper secondary school diploma so I suspect I might not understand some advanced terms which might come up among developers, but I feel that I'm not all blown away and I can understand some things by looking in C/C++ code for example.

I see that this forum has no reviews like many other forums, yet, but I can see that there is a button for it. I wonder if this is something which may arise in the future? Do you know? (And I guess that it will be up to us members whether this will be a reality or not. :-))

Re: Okay, so here I am folks!

Welcome to OTS khelben We always appreciate the presence of knowledgeable people in the forums, man.

As for the Reviews section, I'll eventually activate the link as soon as I find a good enough review script that can be incorporated into the forums. You interested in doing reviews for us?

In any case, hope you enjoy your stay, and glad to have ya here

Re: Okay, so here I am folks!

Thanks for the welcoming note! Appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't have much resources to be able to test computer hardware for myself, so I don't know if it's possible? I could, however, link to good resources on the net(I know several... :-)) but one won't be able to place them into this forum.
