Case Inputs & SB Live!

A friend and I both have Soundblaster Live! 5.1 cards and we need help trying to get the front sound inputs (headphone/mic) from our cases connected to the SB cards.

Does anyone know of a way to do this? If so can you post a link or some sort of documentation on how to do this. I have read on several websites that the 40 pin connector on the SB Live! card is for the Live Drive.

Neither my friend and I do not have the money or the need for the Live Drive. I have read of ways to create some sort of circuitry to do this, but none have said exactly how.

I'm not sure if this has been answered in a previous post, but the search option on OTS isn't all that helpful. That probably needs a post of its own; I just don't like that your limited on your searches and the way the search string is typed in.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Synonymous with "cyberpunk" and "cyber-terrorist"

It is no wonder why new users to computers think that anyone called a hacker is out to do damge to networks.
