Laptop recommendations

I need a new laptop for skool to further my edjumakashun.

It needs to be sturdy, have an audio card that has audio in, and wireless. Long battery life is also a plus.

Dude, am I getting a Dell?

Dell Inspiron 600m would be your choice. My 600m runs 8 hours with two batteries and wireless off, 6 hours with wireless on. Or, 4 hours on one battery with wireless off and 3 hours with wireless on.

Unless you want one of those made-for-gaming laptops from manufacturers like Alienware and Falcon Northwest, I'd definitely recommend a Dell. My family has bought two Dells so far and they work great. We've had no major problems and the performance is good for what we paid. When we have had problems, amazingly enough, each time we've called Dell tech support we've gotten someone competent and they handled our issue properly.

I'd definitely stay away from HP/Compaq laptops, they're just plain crappy.
