Re: Wireless Router

Belkin is your best bet. That or Cisco. Don't buy Linksys, Netgear, DLINK, or any of those cheap-o brands.

Seriously, what's wrong with Linksys? I have an ADSL modem from Linksys with 4 TP ports and I love it! It's been the best modem that I have ever used and it was cheap too.

Why would a certain brand be of poor quality just because of it's price? I believe that you always need to look at individual products and then decide what you think of it. Maybe there's exceptions, but I want to believe that this is the case.

I agree to a certain limit to what you are saying about "Why would a certain brand be of poor quality just because of it's price? I believe that you always need to look at individual products and then decide what you think of it. Maybe there's exceptions, but I want to believe that this is the case#

But as Linksys do have a pretty bad reputation around the net. (But you might have got lucky with your ADSL moden ) I would be very careful buying their stuff. And D-Link and Netgear are even worse btw.

Re: Wireless Router

Check these out. But they may cost more than the budget you meansioned.

http://www.belkin.com/pressroom/rele...demRouter.html

This 3.5 USB hdd enclosure and hdd is a cheaper way to get a good usb external SATA hdd:

You will "build" this in 10 minutes.
