Re: uTORRENT proxy

You are trying to use an auto config script for the proxy server, that will not work. You require the name or IP address of the proxy server & the correct port number.
You may find that the reason you have to login to use the Internet is because you are going through a firewall on the proxy server. This may also be set up with a filter that will deny access to certain files & websites.
We use something similar, but have a port that is not filtered for administrator use.
Unless you can find out the proxy servers name or IP address & correct port number, you will not be able to use uTorrent.
Your network administrator/manager may tell you, but I suspect not. Using P2P software on a network can cause a general slow down to all users & is not a good idea.

Re: uTORRENT proxy

No I don't think you will be able to find this information without asking the admin, unless you can find a way of extracting the proxy server address from the PAC file that would be on the autoconfig server. As the name of the PAC file is not given, I don't expect you would be able to find this out.
