Mozilla Firefox

hello! im new to using Firefox. i noticed that whenever i download something, it is saved automatically to my desktop. how can i change the location for my downloads?

please help.. thanks in advance..

I had the same problem before. Follow these steps:

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click Tools > Options.
3. On the Main portion, you will see there Downloads section. Change the directory for the downloaded files and click OK.
4. Close Firefox and open a new one. That's it!

Yep. That's exactly it! Nice detailed instructions. BTW, you can also let Mozilla ask you where exactly do you want to save your downloaded file/s by selecting the option Ask me where to save every file or Save all files to this folder. Selecting the second option means that you will need to specify the folder where Mozilla will save those files.

generally just toggle with options and you will get it. That is the golden soloution
