optimum online service interuption

for some weird reason, every day. my optimum online goes down....

if im downloading from irc or bit torrent or any p2p program, the download continues.... but when i try to acess the internet... the page never loads.. and i would have to re-start my computer everytime. in order to surf the web again... its pissin me off cuz its been like this for like a month now.!!!! idont know if it might be a problem with their dns server or something. but i just know im getting tired of having to re-start my damn computer to surf the web!..... hope someone can reply to this and know what im talking about that can help me!!!

yup, that happens, particularly if some program has crashed on your comp. its your computer, its not them, or you wouldnt be able to continue to download, and it wouldnt take a reboot to fix it.
just run all your system maintenance, and scan for viruses/spyware. that should reduce it.

.... and if it doesn't, wipe the OS and start from scratch. Make sure you do all of your Windows Update after you reinstall.
