What Is The Difference Between Compact Flash Card And Secure Digital Card

I Have A Palm M585 And I want To Hot Sync Certain Things On It. I Had Lost It And It Turn Up Recently And When I Tried To Hot Sync Certain Files would not because it stated I did Not Have A Secure Digital Card In It. I Was Looking For A Compact Flash Before This Information Came Up On My Monitor. What Is The Difference Between Compact Flash And Secure Card and Is One Better Than The Other. Thanks Dan.

SD cards are encrypted. That and the fact that theyre smaller make them better.
