Angry Car Wiring

Ok, it would be great if there is someone one this site that could help. I have a 98 Chevy Malibu. I am trying to wire an after market CD player. Anyways, the wires are all weird and who ever put in the previous deck must have had a diagram 'cause the wires are all weird different colors and there is no wiring harnesses. I bought the harnesses and wired them matching the previous deck wirings and nothing happens. I have tested the deck in my 91 Bronco and it works fine. It would be great if someone could post a diagram or something like that. Thanks.

Re: Car Wiring

if you have the right harness, it should just sync right up.

Re: Car Wiring

Yeah I got the right harness but it did not sync up so I ended up just straight wiring it. I thought I was doing it right but when nothing happened I turned right to OTS as I always do. But come to find out I did have it wired correctly but there was something wrong with the 12volt constant power wire so I spliced it from my cig outlet and alls well that ends well. Thanks.
