I recently made my own site via geo cities http://www.geocities.com/jzuno2002/techie2.html
and also placed an ad http://www.usfreeads.com/1053930-cls.html
Just wanted to ask if anyone had any good suggestions as to where else i can ad my site for buisness purposes. What i am trying to accomplish here is clients and of course a good foundation of self employment status, am a husband and father of 4.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Re: JZ Computer Repair

I would skip the free websites and go buy your own domain name. Going to jzcomprepair.com looks way better than a geocities account if you want to do this as a serious business. Try godaddy.com and type linux as your promotion code for a couple dollars off. Getting your own domain name is super cheap, and there are a lot of options available to you. If you just want basic info for your site, the minimal package is all you would probably need.

Here's my site. www.traveltechpc.com It's not great at all as I just threw it together in an hour. I also don't do it for a living. It's a side job for me. The site builder tools they offer can help a lot. They may not be the most flexible, but you also don't have to learn HTML or anything of that nature.

Business cards are handy as well. Print them off as needed. And a yellow page ad can go a long way. Computers are used more and more, but people still use the good ole phonebook for services a lot.
