Saving YouTube videos to hard drive..

Can someone please tell me if it's possible to download and save YouTube videos to one's hard drive and then burn them onto DVD's?

If it is possible would you please tell me how?

Thanks you,

There are add ons for Firefox out there, if you search for them. As far as separate programs, I'm unaware of any.

Thanks you,
YouTube videos, most of them you can Embed to add them to a web page without having to use your own bandwidth to serve them up on your own server.

I think I've been using WMR - Windows Media Recorder - WM Recorder 11.0 - to capture most videos from the web. Then you could easily burn them just as video files to DVD's. I think there were some videos that were FLV files. And I found some tools (free I believe) for playing .flv files and also converting them to other video file formats.

This is definitely a late reply but here's a 3rd party software that you can also try. It's called YouTube Downloader. It's a free version. I'm using this to download videos from YouTube. You can also convert videos to some file types too using this software.

Here's the link http://www.download.com/YouTube-Down...=dl&tag=button

Re: Saving YouTube videos to hard drive..

Or just use vixy.net to download and convert to whatever format/player you want.
