Acer Aspire Vista Audio not working

I have an Acer Aspire 5100-5674 (that's what it says on the sticker on the bottom). My audio stopped working last night. I'm not sure why, but I can't get anything. I've searched other threads, downloaded new drivers, restarted twice and still nothing. I went to Device Manager and there's no Sound/Audio tab to check for anything. I downloaded Everest and this is what I have:

when you installed the new drivers, have you removed the old ones first?

just for a thought did you check if your audio is not disable or muted?

what did you do before turning off the pc that might cause the problem?

and if nothing try system restore point..

I was playing a game that I downloaded a while ago that never gave me problems.
System restore point didn't work.

Any other suggestions?
