starcraft router probs

Im using a US robotics router and when i play starcraft on my own with other people its fine but when me and friend play on bnet using both my comps with other people it lags so badly that its impossible to play how do i fix this?

What is the model? (i.e. USR8000, SureConnect 9106, ect.)

Make sure...
1. You have the router properly connected.
2. You can access the internet.

You must assign specific ports in order to bypass the firewall function. (I think SC uses port 4000.)

It's because you're both using the same internet IP address, Starcraft doesn't support that. You're stuck with playing in different games as long as you're using the same internet connection.

No, actually outlaw if you static IP you can give everyone a differant ipaddress.

You're talking about network IP addresses, I'm talking about an internet IP address.

I said Starcraft doesn't support it. I never said anything about Warcraft 3.

i know i can play with my friend in sc with the router i just can do like 2v2 or anythign that has me him AND and extra person
