Question Introductory video displays in full screen with low resolution

I have a dell inspiron 9100 notebook, I have reinstalled and updated my drivers. I just have a bit of an annoying problem. All games I play are using the full screen in the introductory video as well as the game menu. The resolution is real low and looks terrible. I do adjust my resolution to fit the games specs also. I have a wuxga ultra sharp screen with a ati mobility radeon 128mg ram 9700 video card. This problem occured after I reinstalled windows xp for a different issue. Prior to the reinstall of my OS the introductory video displayed itself in a smaller screen with the resolution looking real sharp and also the men was in a small screen as well with a black border in the background. I am just wondering how I could get this back to how it was and eliminate the games I play to using the full screen in the introductory video and game menu. Playing the games are fine using the games max resolution that each game supports. I would appreciate your support and if you have any suggestions to this problem that would ultimately lead to a solution that would be great. Thanks.

Re: Introductory video displays in full screen with low resolution

Were you able to get the ATI mobility drivers from the Dell site? I had issues with a laptop and the video card a week or so ago, all was solved when I was finally able to dl the new mobility drivers.
