Hint: Save from crashes:
Save your character state frequently to protect from crashes. Simply open the skill menu and click "Accept". This will save your character's experience, and will allow you to load from this point in the event of a crash.
Hint: Killing untargetable NPCs:
The game may glitch in some live-with missions, where the objective NPC will become stuck behind a wall, and thus cannot be targeted. He may appear briefly, but you will not be able to maintain a lock on him. Walk towards the wall and enter the /kneel action to see through the wall. You can then click and target the NPC to complete your mission objective.
Hint: Mooning:
To moon someone, type /moon in the message bar.
It's a cool MMO. Darky, Spider, and I played for awhile. I stopped playing because of the Shadowlands expansion. It totally nerfed my character's profession. Also, summer was coming.
I played for a bit as well, I quit when DAOC came out.
I'll be signing back up for sure now though. Thought if you read through the agreement the account is only free until 1/1/06 and it only includes just the base AO game and non of the expansions.
OMG Free?! I'm on it as soon as I get home. I'm connected to the airport wireless network in YVR (Vancouver International Airport) right now. Flight suppose to ttake off at 1:48PM but it's delayed till 2:10PM =(
