cant connect to Asia Gateway. Diablo 2

ok somewhere out there MUST know the answer to my question. i cant be the only person it has happened to.... anyway here it is.
for about 3 months now i have been unable to connect to the Asia gateway on my battle.net . it is very frustrating as all my friends play on asia and i have a lvl 76 Druid on asia so im not making a new one. therefore i must find a way to get Asia to work.
i am able to connect to every other gateway just not the one i need.
when i click battle.net and it starts connecting, it hangs on "Querying Gateway" for about 20 seconds then comes up with an error saying im "unable to connect to battle.net. if you are using a modem you may need to manually connect." this is annoying because i recently changed to broadband but it still happens.

i think its really long because ive tryed to connect so many times but im not sure. anyway, if anyone at all can help me out or give any suggestions please do.

BTW i have sent an email to blizzard and am awaiting a reply.

Go to Start > Run, then type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes). Also, delete the file bncache.dat from your Diablo 2 folder. After that, try connecting again and see what happens...

didnt work for me any other ways i can connect
