Hellgate: London

So the demos been out for a little bit now, i'm curious on peoples thoughts and reactions to the game. I had not really looked much into it at first but thought i'd give it a try and wow i can not wait now.

After playing the demo I must say.....This game sucks mayor!
And I, who really whas looking forward to it!

The graphics are dissapointingly lousy. This game looks like it whas made like in 2004. The AI stinks, and the story line I dont even wanna talk about.

Hellgate London, gets 5 unflushed toilets of 5 possible from me.


Then, the stand alone F.E.A.R. expansion "Perseus Mandate" is a lot better. Even though it's just DX 9.0. And even if I personally after playing the demo. Have grown a bit tired of repetative, murky corridors, sewers etc. and gore and spirits, that is'nt scary any longer.

I still belive though, that the real F.E.A.R. fans will like it a lot.

I do hope that the upcoming, Painkiller Overdose, proves to be better than Hellgate London.

I had this game preordered until I saw some gameplay footage. Looked retarded. Besides, Orange box will keep me entertained for many months. I'll probably even make some portal maps. What a sweet game. Short but a very nice change of pace.

man I've been wanting to play the demo, but for some reason after i downloaded it and double clicked the demo to install it would lag like crazy and everything would lock up and it would say this file may be a unknown format or the file might be corrupt, so i i delete it and re download it hoping to fix the problem but i tried it again and it does the same just doesn't show and error msg. When it lags it seriously lags my whole pc, like when i open up task manager it locks up and skype pause and drops my calls.
