Warcraft 3 b.net update problems

When i upgraded my computer, all my programs got screwed, i had to make a new windows username and i had to go into program files to open warcraft 3.

Now when i try to update warcraft so i can go online, i get this wen it tries to patch it.

Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'
The system cannot find the file specified.

I can't re-install and rebooting doesnt work either. any help would b greatly appreciated.

download the patch from the blizzard site. dont let bnet do it for you.

This would be the first thing I would try.

Otherwise, why can you not uninstall and reinstall the game? Whats the problem you are encountering?

When upgrading key parts to a computer (mobo, processor etc) I also like to format and have a fresh install of windows, that should fix your problem
