cod world at war beta

i have downloaded this game 4 times and am unable to get it to connect to online services
the error code is: unable to connect to online services
i have all virus protection off firewall are off all ports are wide open.
my computer plays cod4 fine.

any help would be appreciated

I cant say for sure since i cant find the info anywhere but I'd assume the beta would be over since the game comes out on the 11th

i bought the game thinking it would be better since my system is within tolerances well it still doesnt work

the game works , except on multi player mode it is like it cant get in the door with the game server or system.

tried disbaling the firewall on the router?

yes all firewalls are off and i have no router hooked up.

i can access some server info , if i put in a known server on my favorites i can see all the info about who is playing and what not but i get the error message of no or bad challenge on addresses which i should get since i cannot create a profile

Contact Activision and see what they say. I don't have this problem with my copy of it, this is really odd.

i have i am on my second ticket with them and my second copy of the game.
if you go to cod hq you will see there are lots of people with this problem.
one thread alone has 81 pages.
i have a clan mate who was able to play online then he had a system or game crash and now he can not play online.
i believe activision has some bad authentication programming going on.

activision hasnt provided any help that has worked they had me close all background services run scan disc defrag etc and then they gave up.
of course if you dont keep responding every 96 hours whether they fixed it or not they consider it solved so on my second ticket.

ya this is the second copy
i have purchased another hdd and i am getting ready to install it as a gaming hdd only so maybe that will work out
( i was wanting to do this for a long time anyways)

for some reason when i use this website test tools called whatsmyip.org it syas the two ports i need for codwaw are blocked but i was told cod 4 uses the same two ports so i am confused., because cod4 works fine.
the ports are 3074 and 28960
