Buying new gaming computer

I tried to post this in hardware but I couldnt post anything in that forum..

Anyways, my mobo fried on my HP laptop from my Nvidia card. Known problem and HP is basically saying too bad. So I now want a new gaming machine. I really want it as a laptop, but might have to settle for a desktop. If I can find a laptop that can take the heat and cost under $2,000 USD I want that.

I want a processor that will be able to play any game on the market right now at high settings. I dont know if duals or quads or the i7 is better for gaming. Ill be using this for gaming and AUTO CAD design work. I dont care about having 20 windows open at once, but I want my top end game or whatever to run great at max settings.

I want dual video cards. I want 1080p resolution most of the time.

Pretty sure I want the DDR3 memory, at least 6 gigs with capasity of 8 or more.

a 500gb or 1tb HD, a type that works well with gaming. I dont store much on my PCs so its mostly about performance over space.

I want a TV tuner w/ HD

I want a blu ray player and dvd/cd burner

standard sound.

DO they make liquid cooling for a laptop?

I may be swayed to a desktop if getting what I want in a laptop is in no way feasable, but I really want and need the portability. I will pay extra for that convience.

Thanks

Re: Buying new gaming computer

If you want power, you shouldn't go for a laptop, it's not worth it in my opinion.
