Budget Graphics Pixel shading 3

Hi members, its time to update my graphics card again (damn technology advancing) I need a card that supports pixel 3 shading.

At present I have a Nvidia GForce FX5500. I am restricted by price and the fact my board only as AGP 8x and PCI3 slots.

Any veiws about the FX6800 especially compatability, I was given an FX8000 series card yesterday only to find it was 16x (damn).

I may get my hands on a FX6600 does this support 3.0 shading ?.
