What processor do you have in your computer?

Simple poll with simple choices. Ain't it great?

This only applies to the computer you are currently using to view and/or vote in this poll

Right. I would think an 800 MHz processor would be ample for gaming. Why do you need a 1.3 GHz processor??

Eh...I dont really get what your talking about. Whens the last time you played a PC game, 2-3 years ago? Try playing UT2k3 on an 800mhz machine, or Morrwind, or just about any other PC game out within the last year. I dont know about you, but I dont like to play games at 15fps.

That's not fast, that CPU probably doesn't even get sold anymore. And even if it does, you can get a few 100 MHz more for a few dollars extra and you will notice the difference.

As a matter of fact, I know someone with a P3-866 and a GF4 4200 and his framerates are not high at all at high quality settings because his CPU is too slow.

As for the poll, I'm using an XP1800.
I'm using all of that speed too, SETI rulez.
Not that I bought the CPU for that, video editing takes forever with a slow CPU...

800 ample? that barely meets the minimum req for current games. a 1.3G is considered low end. in fact a 2.0G is now where the cheap comps are.
