What's the oldest computer component or gadget you still use?
Poll time
Just wondering what is the oldest thing related to the computer you are using that you are still using up to this day. I'm not talking about an old computer or computer peripherals that you gave to your parents or your grandparents - I'm talking about the computer you are using right now, the one you're using to view this poll
If the oldest one you have is not included in the choices above, feel free to tell us what it is

Re: What's the oldest computer component/gadget you still use?
The oldest thing related to my computer at the moment is a stickem paper holder bar I bought at Egghead Software store. Remember them? I like to proof on hard copy so it is valuable to me and I take it from comp to comp to hold up my paper sheets. It's a long plastic bar with a plastic clip on the middle of it that holds the paper. Sez Egghead on it. The first comp I stuck it on was an Apple IIGS.

Re: What's the oldest computer component or gadget you still use?
I know how/when I got all my other stuff but not my Floppy drive. It just seems alot older than everything else on my system. At least 3-5 years.

Yamaha YST-M10 Powered Monitor Speakers
Circa 1997??
Oldest "part" I own is probably an old Vectron computer circa 1991...blazing 8 mhz processor...could go 16 on turbo mode. 1 meg of RAM, 40 meg harddrive... 1200 baud (is that the right term?) modem, printer, monitor, came with GeoWorks.
That thing owned. OWNED

Re: What's the oldest computer component or gadget you still use?
The keyboard I'm using on my computer is from my 1996 Dell.
The monitor(17" trinitron), and speakers on my other computer are from that same 1996 Dell.
Oh yeah, get this, one of my keyboards that is still in use some of the time is from a Dell from 1989
