The War Room - a Madden 2005 GM League (PC)

Want to be one of the few, the proud? Ready to put your mind to the test? Ready to become a weekly warrior battling 31 others in an attempt to own the field? Then The War Room (TWR) is for you.

TWR is a state-of-the-art Madden 2005 GM league now accepting applications. Head on over to www.twr-football.com and check us out. If you enjoy the General Manager aspect of Madden NFL Football, you’ll love this league. You are responsible for all aspects of running your team from a personnel standpoint, as well as selecting the best playbooks and strategies for each of your components.

If you like what you see, register for the forums and then complete the application by hitting the Apply to TWR link on the bottom left of the front page of the site. That is, if you think you’ve got what it takes!

Note: If you're going to register please use your FirstInitial_LastName as your username. For example, if your name is Tom Smith, you'd register as T_Smith. Thanks.

This is a list of some of the great features you'll see in TWR:

Statistics:
Entire league history tracked by MADCAT (http://football-freaks.com/btmlltt/madcat/)
GM careers tracked

On-Site GM Functions:
-cuts
-IR
-free agents
-waivers
-full featured trade application with on-site counter proposals
-The War Room draft experience allows you to scout college prospects and draft them all through a web interface.

On-Site Coaching Functions:
-gameplanning
-depth chart

Other Unique Site Features:
-League Pulse™ automated news system where all league activity is archived in the form of NFL.com-style news stories
-Team and League news tied into forum system, where GMs can post news articles in a sub-forum, and the article gets displayed on their team site

A note from the designer of MADCAT:

If you think you'd like a GM League (or if you already know you like them!) I urge you to check us out. I'm a Co-Commish along with Tarkus (who penned the above blurb) as well as the technical director, if you will. The site is based around MADCAT and on top of MADCAT I've written quite a few additions and more are on the way. If you're impressed with MADCAT, you will be blown away by our site, I promise.

We've got 30 spots filled and are looking for 2 more GMs. Everyone will get an equal shot at the team they want. Our league will be competitive, but fairness and fun are our biggest mandates.

Just completed our first season and heading into the off-season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are available. If you think you've got what it takes to be a great General head on over the The War Room (www.twr-football.com) and hit the Enlist Button on the bottom left.
