Yeah, yet another year has passed and we're still here! Who woulda thought
Anyway, once again, we at OTS would like to thank all the members and visitors who have continued visiting OTS this past year and have stood by us through thick or thin. Thanks also to our steadfast moderators and staffers who have helped the site in terms of order and content.
The past year has not exactly been a good year for OTS. We saw the passing of one of our staffers and a very good friend of ours, Jerome Wheeler (otherwise known in the forums as Laborat). He has contributed greatly to the heart of OTS, and we still mourn the loss of both a good writer and a great friend. To Laborat, we give our thanks for sticking with us for more than four years, offering both support and laughter.
Open Tech Support has also witnessed the comings and goings of members. Old members pass on, and new members come in. We're very happy that, amid small and big problems, our members have continued to contribute greatly to the site and have helped fellow members seeking for help. We may not be as "active" as we were a couple of years ago, but we feel that the site still has a long way to go. It's not on its final legs by any stretch of the imagination - not by a long shot.
Expect some improvements to the site in the next few months. I have been a bit slacking in the past year and have neglected some much needed fresh content and perks within the site. Maybe a new layout? Hmmm, I don't know, this one works, but we'll see, hehe.
Rest assured that we are here to stay for another five years, or ten years, maybe even longer. We are planning to further improve how the site works, and provide a better environment for people to ask and answer questions.
Here's to your continued support. Cheers!
