Warcraft 3 Monitor Problem?

Hi, I'm new to these forums!

Um, my question had to do with Warcraft 3, for some reason whenever my computer runs it, I get half of the screen with weird color distortion, exactly half, no more no less. What's especially strange about this is that it ONLY happens when I run Warcraft 3, I even took a screenshot of it, and when I opened it, the screenshot looked normal color so I either believe this to be a monitor problem or something with warcraft itself.

I contacted Dell and they said it was Warcraft, I contacted Warcraft (blizzard) and they said it was Dell. I have a Radeon 9700 Pro video card, and i recently installed direct X 9.0a and I've tried everything else (new drivers, defragging, degaussing, etc.) a few times when I ran Warcraft 3, the image was fine so I know my video card can support it, can somebody help me please? solve this mystery! Thanks

try reinstall war3

maybe air intake is not enough, resulting in overheating.

try to run w3 with like side panel open and fan blowing toward vcard

tell us other specs on your computer

hey I fixed it, it turned out my monitor (LCD Dell 17") would look exactly like it did during WC3 when I ran 75 hz as the refresh rate, so I overrode the refresh rate to be 60 when running Wc3 and it worked! =)
