file win32k.sys

I have a problem with win32k.sys file everytime I play a game I get a blue screen that says a problem with win32k.sys file has occurred starting memory dump of RAM memory dump complete. I then push the power button and it shuts off if I push the power button again it starts up like normal with no problems and no scandisk screen either. I have this problem in the middle of playing every game and it happens very seldom when not playin a game.

it seems there is a problem with RAM on your system or the HDD have some bad system area. try first thorough scanning of your HDD, then try to changing the RAM if problem is still persistent.

I doubt the problem is with your RAM. Errors with win32k.sys can occur because of IRQ conflicts. Playing a game could trigger these errors because you'd be using your video card, sound card, etc.

Go to Start >> Settings >> Control Panel.
Double-click the System icon.
Choose the tab that says "Hardware."
Click the button that says "Device Manager."

In the device manager, click on your sound card and look for an IRQ Conflict error message. Do the same for your video card. If you're using a joystick or any other peripheral during the games that crash, look for IRQ conflicts in those devices too.

Let us know if you find any.

I'd check your RAM if I were you. It could be an error on one of your memory sticks, that shows itself when in games that takes quite a bit of use of the available memory. Use memtest86.com or the MicroSoft Memory Diagnostic Program at their Online Crash Analysis to download an easy program that will create a bootable floppy or CD to let you see if this is your problem.
